Saw Palmetto is made from the oily berries of the Saw Palm, which is found in the Florida Everglades. The uses of this dwarf palm were known to the Seminole and it was from these Native Americans that Alfred Vogel learned about the plant during his visit to the USA in the 1950s. The Saw Palms, which provide the berries for this remedy, are carefully husbanded in their native habitat using an organic protocol and are protected from other pollutants.
