Produced in the area around the town of Ascoli Piceno, in the Marche region of central Italy, it is an organic wine made from pure Sangiovese grapes, a variety best known in the vicinity of Tuscany. A pleasant ruby red colour, with a nose that demonstrates the mixture of fruits and herbaceous notes most typical of Sangiovese. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, with ripe fruit and well-balanced tannins.
